MEET OUR FOUNDER, Emma Dodson
Growing up, I often felt like I was standing just outside the circle. As a former athlete, movement was something I loved, but it often felt structured, performance-driven, and focused on outcomes rather than experience.
Pilates changed that for me. It was the first form of movement that felt both empowering and enjoyable, a part of my day that I genuinely looked forward to. It challenged me, strengthened me, and gave me a sense of confidence that extended far beyond the studio.
My hope is that Studio Louise becomes more than a workout. I want it to be a place that feels like part of your routine, a space where you can show up exactly as you are, leave feeling stronger than when you arrived, and embrace your own version of the "it girl" energy every single day.

Your next payment will not be charged until the second month after the studio opens. At that time, your membership will continue on its regular monthly billing cycle.

Reserve your spot through our website or the Studio Louise app. You’ll need to create an account to book.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in and get settled. Late arrivals may not be permitted to join class.

Wear comfortable movement attire (leggings, biker shorts, tank or tee).
Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene. If you don’t have a pair, they are available for purchase in-studio. No shoes are worn during class.

Above all else, listen to your body. We recommend 1–2 classes per week for maintenance, 3 per week for progression, and 4+ per week for transformation. Consistency is key.

Due to limited class sizes, waitlists are available for full classes. If a spot opens, you will be automatically added and notified by email. Standard cancellation policies still apply once added.

Log into your Studio Louise account and select to view your position or remove yourself from the waitlist if needed.

We require a 12-hour cancellation window. Cancellations made before this window return your credit with no penalty. Late cancellations (within 12 hours) result in credit forfeiture and a $20 fee.

There is metered street parking available throughout the Navy Yard surrounding the studio.
The studio is also easily accessible via public transportation and nearby commuter options:
MBTA Bus: Route 93 (from Haymarket) and Route 92 (from Downtown/Sullivan)
MGH/Partners Shuttle: Free service from North Station to 13th St / Charlestown Navy Yard
Water Shuttle (Ferry): Service from Long Wharf (Aquarium) to Pier 4, Charlestown
Walking: We always encourage walking if possible and the weather allows! The Navy Yard is accessible via the Charlestown Bridge from North Station
